11. The Book of Romans

Sacrifice showed the Israelite’s just how serious sin is. Something had to die; innocent blood must be shed before sin could be pardoned. But truthfully…this was only a temporary fix. Man would certainly sin again and again. But in Christ, our pardon is complete, not temporary. But is everyone pardoned? No.

The pardon is there to be received. It is available to all of mankind and yet there are many who would rather be in prison. Those who take the Lord up on His offer according to verse 4 now walk in the Spirit and not the flesh.
