19. The Book of Romans (Love and Hate)

Paul believes that his people are separated from God’s very love. This is a picture of an unbelieving Israel rejecting God’s Chosen One, the Messiah. This grieves Paul down to the core of who he was. This burning compassion is supposed to be within every believer for our loved ones and people. Jesus loved not only His people, He loved the world.
