A Church in the City – 1st Corinthians – part 29

Every star, planet, animal and human is different – an infinite variety of different. Paul wants us to understand that resurrection bodies will different from our earthly bodies. For example, Paul says, It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. The body is sown in weakness; it is raised in power. The human body is sown as natural body and is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body – 1 Cor. 15:43-44.

I don’t have to tell you that the human body is perishable. It will deteriorate and die. As soon as a person is born, the aging and deteriorating process begins. The healthiest people as they age, weaken – in every way; loss of muscle and bone density, immune systems begin to fail, energy leaves the body, hair flies away, sex drive diminish. Once the body dies the process of decay is greatly accelerated.
