A Church in the City – 1st Corinthians – part 7
Here is the attitude that Paul impresses on the Corinthian church – I would rather be wronged, defrauded or taken advantage of than to sue a fellow Christian. It is better to lose financially than to lose spiritually. A Christian who takes another Christian to court looses spiritually before the case is even heard. If a brother wrongs us in any way the only response is to forgive and let God control the outcome. The Lord gives and He takes away. No Christian has the right to be unforgiving.
